Changes in medical profession is coming one after another. Yet another law is passed by the union ministry of health that non-medical degree holders cannot appoint as a faculty in medical school. This is indeed bad news for M.sc and PhD holders but the concern for board of governed of medical council of India to provide quality education which can be best delivered by the one who came across with medical education. Who can only be appoint as a medical faculty

However, those M.sc and PhD’s who have appointed before this amendment passed will remain unaffected. In relation to this, Dr. Anoop Singh gurjar (dean, AIIMS) said “if anyone find disobeying this rule and appoint M.sc graduate as a medical faculty will be harmed.
